UTTARAKHAND
It is one of the place which attracts tourist from all over the world due to its beauty. Known as the ‘Land of the Gods’, Uttarakhand is considered to be a heaven on earth due to its serene environment, breathtaking scenery and beauty goes.
Where is Tibet in the north of this beautiful state, while in the east is the country of Nepal. While it is bounded by Uttar Pradesh in the south and Himachal Pradesh in the northwest. The original name of this state was Uttaranchal which was changed to Uttarakhand in January 2007. There are total 13 districts in the state which are divided on the basis of major divisions, Kumaon and Garhwal.
Climate -: The state of Uttarakhand experience three major seasons which include summer, monsoon and winter. The climate here also depends to a great extent on the geographical conditions here. Here, where there are huge hills on one side, there are also small planes on the other side. Best time to visit Uttarakhand is the summer season, at this time the weather here is very good. Tourist visiting Uttarakhand can plan their trip in winters as well Although tourist visiting some places cannot go due to heavy snowfall, yet if you wish, Uttarakhand can be visited in this season too.
Languages -: The official language of Uttarakhand is Hindi, but it is spoken in different regions in different dialects. Kumauni and Garhwali are mostly spoken here. Apart from this, Pahari dialect is also popular in some areas. Under the broad category ‘Kumaon’, the popular sub-dialects are Johri, Danpuria, Askoti, sirali, Gangola, Khasparjia, Faldakoti, Panchchayi, Rauchubhaisi, Maz Kumaiya, Sorayali, Chaugharkhayali and Kumaiya. The sub-categories of Garhwali dialects here are influenced by Sanskrit, central Pahari, and Sauraseni Prakrit and these languages are written in the Devanagari script.

Known as the Lakes District of Uttarakhand, Nainital is a popular tourist destination situated at an altitude of 1938 meters above sea level. This piece of paradise was discovered by the British in the year 1841 and converted into a holiday resort. The word ‘Naini’ is derived from the name of the Hindu goddess Naini, whose temple is situated on the banks of the lake.
Nainital offers boating, boating and fishing opportunities to the visitors. Various beautiful tourist places of Nainital attract a large number of tourists from all over the world. These place include Hanumangarhi, khurpatal, Kilbari, Lariankanta, and Lansdowne.

The ‘Queen of Hill’s Mussoorie is a place worth visiting. Its beautiful green hills and the snow-capped ranges of the mighty Himalayas provide a panoramic view of the Doon Valley, which lies in the southern direction.
Yamuna Bridge, Nag Tibba, Dhanaulti, and Surkandda Devi are the tourist places in and around Mussoorie. Kausani offers breathtaking views of Panchchuli, Nanda kot, Nanda devi, Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Chaukhamba and Kedarnath. Anasakti Ashram, Pant Museum, and Lakshmi Ashram are also popular among tourists.
